In the meantime, the terms that apply to any booking are issued to you in writing with your quotation, before any payment is taken. They cover how a booking is formed, deposit and balance, cancellation and amendment, our liability and yours, and the specific treatment of gorilla permits — which behave differently from the rest of a booking because they are non-transferable and tied to a named person and date.
If anything in them is unclear, ask before you pay rather than after. We would rather answer the question.
Permit terms are set by the park authorities
Gorilla permit conditions come from the Uganda Wildlife Authority and the Rwanda Development Board, not from us, and they are revised periodically. Since March 2026 permits are paid in full at the point of booking, with no reservation hold. Discounted low-season permits — USD 600 in April, May and November — cannot be rescheduled.
