Wildebeest crossing the Mara River during the Great Migration in Kenya

Kenya and Uganda safaris

Five routes rather than fifty near-identical ones. Each is a genuinely different shape of trip, and we will tell you which suits you rather than selling you the longest.

How to choose

The decision is usually days available, then whether you want more savannah or more forest.

  • Seven days — the shortest version that still gives the Mara three nights and Bwindi a proper trek day. Both long legs flown.
  • Eight days — adds a recovery day after the trek. Our most-booked shape, and the one we suggest most often.
  • Ten days — two Kenyan parks and a Ugandan savannah park before the trek. The fullest wildlife version.
  • Twelve days — adds Amboseli under Kilimanjaro and chimpanzee tracking in Kibale.
  • Nine days, Rwanda — for travellers who want the shortest transfers and the most predictable trek.

Everything here is a starting point

These are shapes, not fixed departures. We build to your dates, your accommodation level and your pace. If you want four nights in the Mara instead of three, or the road to Bwindi instead of the charter, say so and we will rebuild it.

This page needs expansion before launch

Per-person prices are absent from every itinerary until verified accommodation and vehicle costs exist. No indicative or 'from' figures should be added until they are real. Owned photography also needed for each tour card.
