What we can tell you now is what we collect and why. An enquiry gives us your name, email and what you have told us about the trip you want. That is used to prepare a quotation and to reply to you, and nothing else.
Passport data
Once you book, we need passport numbers, nationality and dates of birth. This is not optional and it is not ours: the Uganda Wildlife Authority and the Rwanda Development Board require it to issue a gorilla permit in your name, and the minimum trekking age of fifteen is checked against it at the park gate.
That data goes to the relevant park authority, and to lodges and airlines where a booking requires it. It is not used for marketing and it is not sold.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it once your trip is complete and our records requirements allow. Write to info@kenyagorillatrekking.com.
